Peter Fischli (1952, Zurich) lives and works in Zurich. After three decades of collaboration with David Weiss, who died in 2012, Peter Fischli now works as a solo artist. Spanning various media, his practice continues to deal with the question of the filters of attention that mediate our relationship to the world, as well as the thresholds of the personal and the historical, and between the artistic and non-artistic.
His recent projects include exhibitions at Galerie Buchholz, Berlin; By Art Matters, Hangzhou; Kunsthaus Bregenz; Aspen Art Museum, Colorado; The Museum of Modern Art, New York City; Reena Spaulings Fine Art, Los Angeles and New York City.
