A 4th edition around the theme "Face to Face"

LUMA Arles is pleased to welcome the new edition of the Dior Prize For Photography And Visual Arts For Young Talents as a guest programme at the Parc des Ateliers from 4 July to 26 September 2021

Created in 2018 by Christian Dior Parfums in partnership with LUMA Arles and the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie (ENSP), the Dior Photography and Visual Arts Prize for Young Talents is an international competition for students and young graduates of the leading art and photography schools. 

Invited to respond to the theme "Face to Face", the exhibition presents the work of the twelve artists selected by the Jury chaired by the Norwegian photographer Torbjørn Rødland and composed of Pixy Liao, Coco Capitán, Tyler Mitchell, Maja Hoffmann (Founder and Chairwoman of Luma Arles) as well as Simon Baker (Director of the Maison Européenne de la Photographie) and Jérôme Pulis (Director of International Communication for Christian Dior Parfums).

Among them, the Jury wished to reward the photographic series It is a Blessing To Be The Color of Earth by Cédrine Scheidig, student at the ENSP (Arles, France).

A special mention of the jury was also given to Sixtine De Thé from the École Nationale Supérieure Des Beaux-Arts De Paris (Paris, France).

The works of the 12 winners are exhibited in Les Forges at the Parc des Ateliers and presented online at  http://www.luma.org/dior/2021
