The Clock by Christian Marclay is an audiovisual work lasting 24 hours.
Spectacular and hypnotic, it is thousands of film extracts, drawn from the entire history of cinema to compose this mechanism that indicates the time in real time.
Its cinematographic mechanism is regulated with a clockmaker’s precision, marking a century of cinema. The Clock was presented for the first time at the 54th Venice Biennale, in 2011, when Christian Marclay was awarded the Golden Lion for the Best Artist.
You can also discover this installation during your visit of The Tower from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m, until March 20.
