David Levine is an artist based in New York and Berlin whose work encompasses theater, performance, video, and photography.

His projects have been presented at MoMA, MASS MoCA, PS122, Documenta 12, Tanya Leighton Gallery, and Blum and Poe. Levine’s work has been featured in Frieze, Artforum, the New York Times,Triple Canopy, and Cabinet.

He is a 2013 fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University and directs the Studio and Performing Arts program at ECLA of Bard College, Berlin.
