Interview with Shahryar Nashat

"This work is like a real-time self-portrait that is constantly changing over the next six months."

Director(s)  Victor & Simon
Participant(s)  Shahryar Nashat

In this video, Shahryar Nashat talks about his installation Reverse Rorschach, a constantly evolving real-time self-portrait. The visuals are generated by the artist's emotions, captured by a device he wears at all times. The images projected into the space are subject to interpretation by those contemplating them, like a veritable Rorschach test.

The exhibition is produced by the LUMA Arles & Google research initiative.
