Alice Dos Reis during her residency in Arles

"I do think in some ways it has to do with trying to reconcile a sense of God and of wholeness."

Participant(s)  Alice Dos Reis

This video follows Alice Dos Reis during her residency in Arles, where the city’s architecture and its many religious buildings feed into her artistic work. She explores the relationship between storytelling, time, and creation, moving from film to tapestry, and weaving together Christian mysticism, science fiction, tarot cards, and personal symbols. Her work reflects on how technology is projected onto the divine, and on the ways time, space, and images can capture spiritual and poetic experiences.
