Forty years ago, Philippe Descola met Indigenous People of the upper Amazon to study their relationship with the environment. This immersion, which radically changed his perception of the world, allowed him to draw the existence of 4 Forms of the Visible: animism, totemism, analogism and naturalism.
In this video, the anthropologist invites us to question our western perception of the world, and to understand the way in which peoples compose singular universes by taking into account all the "forms of life": plants, animals, souls, spirits, beings and things.
