This guided tour provides an overview of the exhibitions presented in The Tower.
Through artworks in a variety of forms, it highlights artistic approaches that explore different ways of perceiving, narrating, and representing the world.

David Armstrong
An immersion in the work of photographer David Armstrong, whose portraits, beyond simple representation, capture an era and a state of mind on glossy paper.

Dance with Daemons (evolving title) 
A constellation of works by more than fifty artists, where installations, paintings, and photographs intertwine in a collective reflection on art and reality.

KOO JEONG A – LAND OF OUSSS [KANGSE]
Showcasing sculptures, an olfactory installation, phosphorescent paintings, and intimate ink drawings, the exhibition traces a sensitive journey through movement, weightlessness, levitation, and voids.

Hans Ulrich Obrist Archives – Chapter 5: Maria Lassnig
‘Living with art stops one wilting!’

Combining personal documents and significant works, this exhibition centers on the dialogue between painter Maria Lassnig and curator Hans Ulrich Obrist, interweaving body awareness, feminist engagement, and archival intimacy.

Sensing the Future: Experiments in Art and Technology (E.A.T.)
The first exhibition in France dedicated to this visionary 1960s initiative, which brought together avant-garde artists and pioneering engineers of the information age.

Wael Shawky – I Am Hymns of the New Temples
An immersive experience where Pompeii becomes a setting that blurs the lines between the metaphysical and the real.

Ho Tzu Nyen – Phantom Day and Stranger Tales
Five immersive installations blending myth, war, and fiction in a reimagined Southeast Asia.

Bas Smets – Climates of Landscape
Three landscape architecture projects— including the Parc des Ateliers—explore ecological solutions and urban transformation.

Every Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.

This workshop-visit unfolds in two parts. It begins with a guided tour of the 2025 Dior Photography and Visual Arts Award for Young Talents exhibition. In response to the works on display, participants are then invited to create a botanical diptych inspired by the landscaped park, using a natural dyeing technique on textile developed by Atelier LUMA, the biodesign research lab of LUMA Arles.

This guided tour presents the current exhibition program through a curated walk between The Tower and the historical buildings. It offers an opportunity to explore contemporary, multidisciplinary works that engage with major societal issues.

Architectural tours

The Tower: an artistic and architectural journey

On Fridays at 2:30 p.m.

During this guided tour you will be introduced to the LUMA Arles project, and the architecture of The Tower imagined by Frank Gehry. Throughout your journey through The Tower, you will discover the original artistic projects and design research works presented in this extraordinary building.

Family tours

Explor’expos en famille (in French only)

Starting from July 5, 2025
Every Tuesday and Thursday at 3:00 p.m., and every Saturday at 4:30 p.m.

This guided tour invite both children and adults to explore the artistic program in a fun and engaging way. Everyone will have the opportunity to discover a variety of artworks, some of them surprising ; through this visit specially adapted for children.

Visite ludique : Les petits explorateurs de La Tour (in French only)

Every Sunday at 4:30 p.m.

The Tower becomes, for the duration of a visit, a territory of adventure to be explored with the family. Children and adults are invited, through a playful itinerary and a series of activities, to meet the architect, the designer and the artist, and thus discover an original architecture inspired by the landscapes of Arles and surprising works of art.
