Educational program

Throughout the year, LUMA Arles develops educational projects related to architecture, the garden or its program, both in the spaces of the Parc des Ateliers and in the city's schools.

Since 2015, thousands of students from Arles' schools, colleges and high schools have been able to benefit from an educational program carried out throughout the year in order to understand the transformations underway at the Parc des Ateliers, whether they relate to architecture or landscape. The MaxiMalle, an educational tool specifically designed for this program, invites the youngest students to discover construction techniques and to think and make various models. A visit to the Parc des Ateliers allows students to discover the site in the company of LUMA Arles mediators. These same students then develop an artistic project conceived during workshops conducted with intervening artists, directly in the schools.
